Young Millionaire Club: Mark Bao

By Elizabeth Guo

Mark Bao started to do business when he was a 5th grade student and before he graduated from high school, he built 11 web-related companies and 3 non-profit foundations. His goal is to make his personal worth of more than $5 billion.

Website: Debateware.com,  avecora.com

Mark Bao was born in China and moved to USA with his parents when he was 4 years
old.

When he was a fifth grade student, he wrote a visual basic program to manage homework assignments and sold them to his classmates.

In his first year in high school, he created Debateware.com, an event system for debate organizations. He sold it to the largest debate organization in USA.

When he was 17 years old, he created 11 web-related companies and 3 non-profit
foundations..

What surprised me:

Mark Bao created so many companies at such young ages. He claimed that his goal was to be worth over $5 billion, which is another surprise to me.
